Space Watch Face

A little solar system on your wrist. The Earth sits at the centre of the dial, and the hands carry the rest of space around it. The Moon rides the hour hand, a rocket flies on the tip of the minute hand, and an astronaut drifts round on the seconds hand. Behind them, the dial sinks away in layers of cut paper like a tunnel into the night sky, scattered with tiny stars. Tilt your wrist and the Earth, the glass and the ring around the dial shift with it. Around the Earth sit the readings you check through the day — battery at the top, heart rate and temperature on the left, the date and weekday on the right, and a weather icon at twelve. Below the centre, a digital window carries the hour and minute with the seconds beside them, following your watch's 12- or 24-hour setting. The background comes in navy or black, and the numerals take one of seventeen colours, from lime and lemon to ice blue and coral red. Start from one of two presets. In the dark it turns to green lume.
